Professor Norman Spencer (Harrison Ford) has a seemingly ideal marriage, but things start to go wrong when his loving wife Claire (Michelle Pfeiffer) starts believing their house is haunted. The initially sceptic Norman finds himself starting to believe as supernatural events become more & more common place, and more and more frightening. Eventually we learn the truth about the disgruntled spirit, and it’s a truth that Norman would rather his wife never knew about.
