Set against the backdrop of a mythical South American land, this animated comedy tells of the unlikely friendship between an arrogant Emperor named Kuzco (voiced by David Spade) and a humble peasant named Pacha (John Goodman). The action turns on the character of Yzma (Eartha Kitt), an evil sorceress who plans to poison Kuzco and take over his empire. But her inept henchman grabs the wrong poison and turns Kuzco into a llama. It is Pacha who comes to the aid of Kuzco, promising to help him find the antidote that will restore his human form, but only if Kuzco agrees to spare his village. Mark Dindal ("Cats Don‘t Dance") helms the madcap adventure, with songs by Sting.
