When their wayward herd leads them near the small town of Harmonville, a group of four cowboys led by a former gunslinger encounter a corrupt sheriff and kingpin rancher who govern the territory through fear, tyranny and violence. Amidst such turmoil, one of them finds love in the beautiful Sue Barlow. Inextricably drawn towards an inevitable showdown, they soon find themselves forced to defend the freedom and values of their lifestyle that is too quickly vanishing.
